The notifier records the alert
Four short steps in the CBAS app: the mother's details, the birth details, health indicators, and a review screen. The phone's GPS tags the location automatically. No network is needed — the alert is stored safely on the device, encrypted.
The alert syncs itself
The moment the phone finds a signal, pending alerts upload in a single batch. The notifier does nothing — the app watches for connectivity and reports back with a notification when alerts are delivered.
The system routes it to the right officer
Using the alert's coordinates, CBAS assigns it to the registration officer responsible for that exact area. Supervisors at LGA, state and national level see the same live picture.
The officer verifies and acts
The officer confirms the details, locates the family, and connects the newborn to birth registration and health services such as immunization. Every status change is recorded.
The notifier sees the result
When a child is registered, the notifier's phone tells them so. The loop closes in the same community where it began.

Works without network
Notifiers can log in and submit alerts completely offline. Everything syncs automatically when connectivity returns.
Updates install themselves
The app checks for new versions daily and installs them with the notifier's consent — no technician, no memory card, no travel.
Readable in sunlight
Large touch targets and high-contrast text, because most alerts are submitted outdoors on modest phones.
Private by design
Personal information is encrypted on the device and in transit. Diagnostic reports carry no names, numbers or locations.
